AI calls outside Canada
AI features use Google Vertex AI in the Montreal region, called from the application runtime in Montreal. ProposalForge sends customer content to no other AI provider. The AI assistant's optional web research, off by default and switched on per organization and per message, is the one exception to processing in Canada: the model in Montreal writes a short search phrase (at most 200 characters, and it can repeat words from the request or the user's files), and Google's Web Grounding for Enterprise runs the web search from it. The assistant may run more than one search for a message. Google makes no residency commitment for that search, and states that the service does not log or store customer data.
